Girl student ends life

Kakinada: A student of eighth class Y. Sukanya (13), daughter of a reserve police constable, committed suicide by dousing herself in kerosene and went ablaze at her house in reserve police lines here on Monday. Police said that she was irked by her father’s admonition for lagging behind in studies and resorted to the extreme step. The Kakinada two town police have registered the case. - Correspondent
