NEW DELHI: Global communications major BT on Tuesday said it would be expanding its operations in India by hiring more people and upgrading its infrastructure to take its revenue from the sub-continent to $250 million by 2009. “Apart from hiring 6,000 more employees by 2008, we will be increasing connecting points (nodes) for multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) infrastructure, bringing the number to 14 in India,” BT India Chairman and Managing Director Arun Seth said here at a press conference. — Staff Reporter
