VIZIANAGARAM: CPI (M) MLA from Naguru constituency Kolaka Lakshmana Murty has threatened to lay a seige to Parvathipuram RDO office and also launch relay fast if the administration found no solution to the wild elephants menace in the Agency region in the next one week. The party district secretary M. Krishna Murty and the MLA submitted a memorandum to Collector B. Kishore in this regard. They also demanded an exgratia of Rs. 5 lakhs to the kin of tribals killed by the tuskers last month. It may be recalled that Minister for Forests S. Vijayarama Raju had announced Rs. 50,000 under ‘Apatbandhu’ programme and the Forest Department Rs. 1 lakh.
