Floor leader of the CPI(M) in the VMC Ch. Babu Rao on Wednesday urged Joint Collector S. Suresh Kumar to restore supply of commodities through fair price shops to over 6,000 poor people, for whom ration was stopped for the last three months as they would have to undergo an iris scan. Mr. Rao submitted a memorandum to the Joint Collector to this effect.
