Man killed in accident

An assistant professor of a private college died after the scooter he was riding collided with a military truck at Hakeempet on Wednesday. The police said A. Srinivas Rao (32), a resident of Bajrang Nagar Colony, was going on some work when the accident took place.

Student killed

A B. Tech third-year student was killed after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a RTC bus near his house on Nizamshahi Road in Narsingi on Thursday.

Subham Thakur (19) was going to the college when the bus driver, who is absconding, rammed into the motorcyclist resulting in grievous injuries.

He was declared dead when brought to a nearby hospital, according to the police.
