Indian team wins

MUMBAI: The Hutch Indian Rugby team won the Bowl category at the 9th Asian rugby sevens, in Kandy (Sri Lanka), overpowering Cambodia 36-5, according to a release from the Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU) on Thursday.

Amit Lochab got India off to a flying start with two tries, captain Nasser Hussain, Puneet Krishnamoorthy and Pritom Roy chipped in with a try each. Pritom Roy and Sujai Lama contributed with one conversion each. — Special Correspondent
