BANGALORE: Seer of the Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math Sri Balagangadharanatha Swami on Thursday inaugurated a sophisticated trauma care centre at the BGS Global Hospital here.

The seer also inaugurated helipad near the hospital to facilitate air ambulance service. A patient from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh was the first to utilise the service. BGS Global Hospital is a super speciality tertiary care hospital located at BGS Health and Education City off Kengeri on Kengeri- Uttarahalli Main Road. The facility at the hospital include communication systems, resuscitation systems, shock treatment room, operation theatre, observation bay, monitoring systems, protocols and procedures. Transportation systems includes ground ambulances as well as air ambulance services. They are open to the public from Friday. The trauma care centre is a unit of “Comprehensive Trauma Consortium” of Bangalore. The services can be accessed by dialling 1062.
