All-India inter-schools chess

Hyderabad: DRS International School (DRSIS) will host the inter-school CBSE South Zone chess championship from September 20. About 400 students from 150 schools from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry are expected to take part in the three-day tournament.

The championship will be held in the premises of DRS International School. The competitions will be held in the under-14 and under-19 age groups. The winners from this championship will qualify to play in the National Level schools chess championship later this year.
