Power connection process simplified

VIZIANAGARAM: AP Transco has introduced a novel scheme for the benefit of domestic consumers in Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Salur and Parvathipuram.

The officials will sanction power connection immediately after receiving a phone from consumers in the said municipalities.

They however have to submit the following documents: two applications, wiring certificate, house-site documents, municipal tax receipt, first page copy of the Property Tax book and three passport size photographs to the visiting official, according to a press release.

The phone numbers are : Vizianagaram (155333 and 236273, 272692), Bobbili (252177), Salur (255243) and Parvathipuram (229120).
