Gahanananda “critical but stable”

KOLKATA: The condition of Swami Gahanananda, president, Ramakrishna Math and Mission, remained “critical but stable” on Wednesday.

He was suffering from a degenerative disease and was admitted to the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratisthan on September 4.

His condition, which worsened from September 16, would be monitored for two more days before a decision is taken on his release.
