Heroin seized

CHENNAI: Officials belonging to the Narcotics Control Bureau, South Zonal Unit, Chennai, seized 2.7 kg of heroin from three Sri Lankan nationals at the Tiruvanmiyur bus stand on Wednesday, a press release said.

The contraband was packed in polythene bags and concealed between bags of saris. The arrested have been remanded to judicial custody.
