Special drive to eradicate malaria

The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation has launched a special drive to eradicate malaria in the 1st, 24th, 25th , 30th and 52nd election divisions. Local corporators and district Malaria Department staff participated in the drive which included releasing gambusia fish in wells, treatment of stagnated water and larva-eradication measures. The sanitary steps will be every Friday in five election divisions till December.
