Moscow: Igor Andreev put defending champion Russia into a 1-0 lead only to see Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber battle from a set down to beat World No. 4 Nikolay Davydenko and level the Davis Cup World Group tennis semifinals score 1-1 here on Friday. While Andreev defeated Tommy Haas 6-2, 6-2, 6-2, Kohlschreiberwon 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 over Davydenko. Meanwhile in Goteborg, Sweden and the U.S. were tied 1-1.
