Rajagiri, Bhavans win

SREEKANDAPURAM: Rajagiri, Kalamassery, and Bhavans, Elamakkara, emerged as champions, in the boys’ and girls’ sections respectively, in the CBSE Keala Cluster VI inter-school basketball tournament at the Marygiri SSS courts here on Saturday.

The results:

Boys’ final: Rajagiri 49 (Abhai Louis) bt Girideepam, Kottayam, 48 (Jithu Varghese 19). Semifinals: Rajagiri 54 (Abhai Antony 24, P.S. Shaji 17) bt Bhavans, Elamakkara, 37 (Neeraj A. Koshy 19); Girideepam 62 (Jithu M. Varghese 16, K. Joseph 11) bt St. Thomas Central, Thiruvananthapuram, 39 (Sreejith M. Pillai 15, Toby John 12).
