Water level of reservoirs up

KORAPUT: Two gates were lifted at Deopali and Moran dams at Indravati water reservoirs in Nowrangpur district when rain water entered in huge quantity on Saturday night following heavy rain in catchment areas.

The water level in the reservoir reached 642.5 metre high , just 0.5 metre below the danger mark. However, the gate at Deopali was closed on Sunday, while keeping open the gate at Moran dam.
