BHOPAL: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh on Sunday described the attack allegedly by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam workers on the BJP office in Chennai as “political fascism” and said the DMK should stop this. He told the media here that it was also the Centre’s responsibility to prevent such violent incidents or the United Progressive Alliance government, of which the DMK was a part, would be held responsible. Mr. Singh said news of the violence in Chennai reached him while the party’s national executive committee was meeting here for its concluding session. Action soughtThe Leader of the Opposition, L.K. Advani, telephoned Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil and senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad spoke to the DGP, Tamil Nadu. He demanded action against those responsible. He said the Ramar Sethu issue would be taken up by the BJP, which would help the Ram Sethu Raksha Samiti.
