CHENNAI: R. Jagadeesh’s 96 (123 balls, 9x4) enabled Districts-I, opting to bat, end day one at 293 against City-II in the two-day TNCA round robin under-13 cricket tournament here on Sunday. Left-arm medium pacer Geet Puri picked up four wickets for City-II.

The scores: Districts-I 293 in 90 overs (Hari Nishanth 35, R. Jagadeesh 96, J. Kaushik 43, Geet Puri four for 51) vs. City-II.
