Himansh, Esha triumph

NEW DELHI: Himansh P. Kala of Central Bank of India and Esha Monga of Manav Sthali School won the men’s and women’s titles respectively in the 68th Delhi State table tennis tournament at the Siri Fort Sports Complex here on Tuesday.

The results (finals): Men: Himansh P. Kala bt Harsh Chopra 11-8, 13-11, 7-11, 8-11, 11-6, 14-12.

Women: Esha Monga bt Nikita Rautela 10-12, 11-7, 12-10, 11-8, 11-7.

Youth boys: Yakshap Jindal bt Sunal Jain 7-11, 11-8, 7-11, 11-3, 11-5, 13-11.

Sub-junior boys: Utkarsh Gupta bt Abhishek Jaggi.

Sub-junior girls: Manika Batra bt Aashita Jain 9-11, 11-9, 13-11, 11-5, 11-6.

U-8: Kashish Kohli bt Parth Virmani 11-8, 11-6, 11-5.

U-7: Vanshaj Kwatra bt Amisha Dhall 11-5, 11-7, 11-3.
