Water level

MADURAI: Water level in the Periyar dam on Tuesday stood at 130.50 feet (136 feet) with an inflow of 3,555 cusecs and a discharge of 1,697 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 54.40 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 1,280 cusecs and a discharge of 1,841 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 7,437 mcft.

Periyar dam recorded 22 mm of rainfall followed by Tekkadi 5, Shanmuganadi 2.4 and Gudalur 1 mm.
