Student found singed

BHUBANESWAR: An engineering college student was found burnt in mysterious circumstances at Gandhi Institute of Technological Advancement (GITA), on the outskirts of the capital city on Thursday. Biswaranjan Malla, a second year students of Electrical stream in Gita, was battling for life at a private nursing home here. College authorities said the student committed self-immolation by pouring kerosene on him. However, relatives said it was an attempt to murder.
