KANCHEEPURAM: Works to improve basic infrastructure facilities at major tourist spots are being taken up in the district, according to District Collector Pradeep Yadav. Speaking at the inauguration of the World Tourism Festival here on Thursday, Mr. Yadav said Rs.262 lakh would go towards development works at Kancheepuram, Rs.55 lakh at Thirukazhukundram, Rs.14 lakh at Sriperumpudur and Rs.3 lakh at Pazhayaseevaram. — Staff Reporter
