Two killed in car-bus collision

TIRUNELVELI: Two persons were killed and three others injured in a road accident near Alangulam in the district on Friday.

Police said a car, proceeding from Vadakarai to Tirunelveli collided with a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus near Aththiyoothu Junction under the Alangulam police station limits in which M. Ahmed and M. Mohamed Sarfudin were killed on the spot.

Three injured

Three others, including two women and a child, were injured.

The injured have been admitted to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.
