Sugarcane ryots on hunger strike

Sangareddy: Sugarcane farmers from Zaheerabad, who walked all the way to New Delhi to highlight the plight of the farmers of this region, sat on an indefinite hunger strike at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The padayatra reached Delhi in 54 days. Farmers from Maharashtra also joined the rally.
