12 district Congress observers appointed

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J.P. Agarwal has appointed observers in all 12 districts of the Capital ahead of “Ahimsa Diwas Padayatra” on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2.

He has also set up a six-member transport committee to ensure a fool-proof arrangement of buses to facilitate Congress workers’ “peace march” from the party headquarters on Akbar Road to Mahatma Gandhi’s samadhi at Raj Ghat.
