A.K. Antony’s assurance to Swamy

CHENNAI: The Defence Minister, A.K. Antony, has assured the Janata Party president, Subramanian Swamy, that his Ministry would look into the matter of posting of the Coast Guard around the “Ramar Sethu” to protect it from any possible damage from elements such as Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.

Mr. Antony stated this in a letter to Dr. Swamy, a copy of which was released by the Janata Party leader to the media. — Special Correspondent
