4 injured in militant attacks in J&K

Jammu: Four security personnel were injured in two separate attacks by militants in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, a police spokesman said here.

The militants fired at a joint patrolling party in the Galote-Kithar area of Kishtwar district, he said. One jawan and a special police officer were injured in the firing and both have been admitted to hospital.

In another incident, the militants fired on policemen who had gone to serve summons at Sanar-Thawa in the Thathri area of Kishtwar district around 11:30 a.m., the spokesman said. — PTI
