MP launches yatra

Lagadapati Rajagopal, MP, on Wednesday began his ‘Pragathi-Purogathi’ yatra in the city with a visit to areas in the 26th division. Accompanied by Mayor Mallika Begum and corporator Y. Chalapathi Rao, he explained the development programmes in the city, especially the works being taken up under JNNURM. He assured the people that he would get them ration cards, houses and pensions. The MP would tour 54th division on Thursday.
