The Commissioner of Agriculture, A.R. Sukumar, has clarified that the Agriculture Minister, N. Raghuveera Reddy, had stated that the foodgrain production in kharif 2007 would cross 100-lakh tonnes and not as mentioned in the caption and the report in these columns in the issue dated October 5, 2007.
