The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has rewarded the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) with a duty credit of Rs.10.72 crores as export benefit under the target plus scheme of DGFT.

This benefit could be adjusted towards customs duty against VSP’s future exports.

A VSP release said the plant had achieved an export sales of Rs.478 crores in 2005-06 which is Rs.214 crores more than the export sales in 2004-05.
