VIJAYAWADA: South Central Railway women’s team emerged winner in the all-India inter-railway kabaddi championship, which concluded at Patna on Sunday. SCR women defeated South Eastern Railway (Kolkata) 26-16 in the last league match. SCR men finished second, losing to Northern Railway 19-60 in the final. South ‘B’ in finalSouth ‘B’ and North ‘B’ entered the final of the ACA Matrix Labs under-15 inter-zonal cricket tournament at the Loyola Public grounds at Guntur on Sunday. The scores: South ‘B’ 169 in 76 overs (Tejeswi 64, Vinod Kumar 44, Murali five for 51) & 64 for no loss in 29 overs drew with Central ‘B’ 87 all out in 60 overs (Saleem four for 10).
