“Not directed at Left”

New Delhi: The Congress on Sunday night sought to downplay the remarks of its president Sonia Gandhi at a public meeting in Haryana that opponents of the India-U.S. nuclear deal were “enemies” of the country’s development, saying they were not directed at Left parties.

AICC sources said whatever Ms. Gandhi had said was in the context of Haryana. — PTI
