Another bus mishap, man seriously injured

NEW DELHI: A young motorcyclist was seriously injured when a Blueline bus hit him at Mandawli here on Saturday night. The victim has been admitted to Max Hospital.

According to the police, the accident took place near Balco Market around 11 p.m. when the bus plying on route 740 hit a stationary Maruti Swift car and then hit the motorcyclist. The victim, who sustained head injuries, was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital from where he was referred to Max Hospital. He has been identified as Ravi Rai Rana, a resident of Pharma Apartments. The Mandawli police have registered a case of causing injury due to rash and negligent driving and arrested the bus driver, Gulab Singh, a resident of Palam.
