More than 16,400 employees of the VSP would get Rs.14,000 each under the annual performance linked reward scheme for 2007-08. This is an adjustable advance amount payable against set targets on production for 2007-08. An agreement to this effect was signed by the representatives of the Visakha Steel Employees Congress and management in the presence of deputy labour commissioner M.N. Varahala Reddy. VSP Director (Personnel) Y. Manohar was present.
