GVMC has been selected for a CRISIL award for excellence in Municipal Initiatives in the category of Million Plus cities. GVMC has been declared winner for its continuous endeavour to implement reforms in the field of Accounts Management, Taxation, e-Governance, Planning and Services to the Urban Poor. Municipal Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Meena received the award from Union Minister for Urban Development S. Jaipal Reddy at the national conference of the JNNURM cities in New Delhi on Tuesday.
