Man gets life term for murder

SRIVILLIPUTTUR: The Virudhunagar Principal District and Sessions Court Judge, V. Balasundarakumar, on Thursday sentenced a murder-accused to undergo life term.

According to prosecution, P. Rajalakshmi of Chinna Odaipatti near Sattur married G. Kaliraj in 2002. Soon, the couple got separated following differences of opinion. A case was registered against Kaliraj and his parents with the all-women police station. On July 24, 2006, Rajalakshmi’s brother, P. Anburaj, stabbed his brother in-law to death in front of the Judicial Magistrate Court at Sattur.
