Bhadradri temple BHADRACHALAM: Foolproof security measures have been initiated to protect the Bhadradri temple -- the abode of Lord Rama -- in view of the threats posed to Hindu shrines in the country. A special mechanism devised for maintaining round-the-clock vigil in the temple, will become functional very soon. The special protection force (SPF) has already been tasked with the temple security. Two door frames and two more hand-held metal detectors (HHMDs) would be in use for scanning the visitors at the main entrance and in the temple corridors. The temple staircase would be provided with grill doors. A strict vigil will maintained on all the visitors by the closed circuit television cameras . Solar fencing will cover the entire complex. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
