Mayor Mallika Begum on Friday urged people to contribute their mite to the development of the handloom sector by using handloom garments.

Speaking at the inaugural function of ‘Chenetha Raagalu’, a handloom exhibition-cum-sale, which commenced at the A.P Film Chamber hall at Gandhinagar, she pointed out that the handloom sector was second only to the agriculture sector in providing work to the working class.
