Arrangements in place for YSR’s visit

The Chief Minister will inaugurate Indiramma houses and also distribute old-age pensions


SANGAREDDY: Elaborate security arrangments are being made for the visit of Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy to Kothapalli of Jinnaram mandal on 17 of this month. Kothapalli area which falls under thick forest was once shelter to the Naxals.

Nallavalli, Laxmapur and Pyara Nagar villages have been the nerve centres of Maoist activity in the districtin the past. Even though the area has not seen any movement in recent years, police started combing operations. Senior police officials have personally visited the area selected for the public meeting and the helipad.

With the Chief Minister arriving at Kothapalli to inaugurate Indiramma phase one houses the housing department summoned extra help to complete the construction of 44 houses out of the 89 that were approved for construction.

Arrangements have been made for lunch the Chief Minister would be sharing with the beneficiaries at the premises of the local school. He would also hand over pensions to the aged persons.
