An unidentified youth was drowned in the sea and his body was washed ashore near the Submarine Museum on Sunday.

The three-town police said there were no injuries on the body barring one on the nose perhaps caused by the stones there.

The youth was aged about 17 years and the body was preserved at the KGH mortuary.
