Former officials honoured

CHENNAI: Two veteran of petroleum industry, former secretary to Government of India T.S.Vijayaraghavan and former advisor to Governments of India, Norway and Tanzania K.Narayanan, were honoured at the golden jubilee celebrations of the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Chennai recently.

The Chennai section chairperson Sastry Karra and SPE Delhi section chairperson A.K.Hazarika participated. According to a press release the SPE is US-based professional body of the upstream petroleum industry with about 80,000 members.
