‘A dream can be a powerful tool’

TIRUCHI: Arts, music and sports hogged the limelight at a felicitation function of young achievers by Hero Honda as part of its nation-wide celebrations for crossing the two crore mark in motorcycle sale.

Avipsha Das, Balshree awardee for creative writing, was the first one to be honoured at the function held here on Saturday. Kaashyap Mahesh, winner of several national-level prizes for music, and S. Shanmugasundaram, state cricket player, were the other achievers who shared the centre stage.

“Dream can be a powerful tool if hard work is put in to realise it,” was what the trio had to say after receiving the award.
