Combined Districts gets past City

PERAMBALUR: Combined Districts got past City by virtue of its first innings lead on the final day of the under-13 City-Districts return cricket match at Dalavoi on Sunday.

Resuming at 161 for eight, Districts was dismissed for 188, a first innings lead of 60 runs.

The scores: City 128 & 88 for one in 51 overs (M. Prasanna 34 not out) vs. Combined Districts 188 in 139.1 overs (R. Arun Nivas 58, K. Ravikumar four for 43, Ashwath Mukundan three for 23). Combined Districts won by virtue of its first innings lead.
