St. Joseph’s CE advances

Chennai: St. Joseph’s College of Engineering (Chennai) moved into the semifinal league in the ball badminton event in the Ishari Velan Memorial Trophy inter-collegiate tournaments organised by the Vel Srinivasa College of Engineering and Technology at Thalambur.

The other teams to make the grade in ball badminton were Annamalai University, St. Joseph’s (Tiruchi) and SRM (Kattankalathur).

In basketball, Annamalai University, JPR Engineering, SRM, and Sathyabhama University made the semifinal-league stage, while in volleyball, SRM, Sathyabhama, DB Jain, and Gurunanak College entered the semifinal league.
