Tara in doubles quarterfinals

NEW DELHI: The pair of Tara Iyer and Nungnadda Wannasuk of Thailand defeated the duo of Shona Lee of New Zealand and Story Tweedie-Yates of the U.S. 7-6(1), 6-4 in the doubles first round of the ITF women’s tennis tournament at Gympie, Australia, on Tuesday.

In singles, Tara has been drawn to play the fourth-seeded Monique Adamczak of Australia in the first round on Wednesday.
