BANGALORE: Postal Hockey Club beat Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited 4-3 in the D.S. Murthy & V. Karunakaran memorial hockey tournament here on Tuesday. Former International Prakash Chalke slotted two goals (fourth and 28th) and Adarsh Ganapathy (25th) and Samuel (35th) one each for the winner and Nazim Bepari (9th), OE Thimmaiah (15th) and Praful Kujur (43rd) scored for BSNL. In another match, Centre of Excellence defeated Naveen Hockey Club 6-0 with Honesh Raja (21st and 27th) and Sudhir (23rd and 52nd) scoring a brace each along with Veer Singh (17th) and Dinesh Kumar’s successful efforts. Earlier Sports Authority of India ‘C’ beat Corps Of Military Police 3-2. Nikin Thimmaiah (third and 45th) and Poonacha (17th) scored for the winner and Kamal (25th) and Manoj T (42nd) scored for CMP.
