Bangalore: KSP blanked Oriental 7-0 in a State super division league match at the Football Stadium here on Tuesday. Sampath Kumar (35th, 67th and 86th min.) led the fray as Karthik (13th min.), Archan (18th and 36th mins.) and Karthikeyan (56th mins.) also scored the goals to put the match beyond Oriental’s grasp. Earlier in an ‘A’ division league match, RBI and HMT played out a 3-3 draw. Ramesh Babu, P.L. Roshan and Rajan Wilfy scored for RBI while Muthu, Benjamin and Vikram scored for HMT. Meanwhile in a ‘C’ division league match at the Malleswaram Grounds, Minerva defeated Bangalore Yellows 3-1. Kishore, Udesh and Hemanth scored for the victors while Zaid scored Bangalore Yellows’ lone goal. Aditya Prakash to train in IndonesiaThe Karnataka State junior champion Aditya Prakash, a trainee of Tata Padukone Badminton Academy (TPBA), will train for a month in Indonesia. The TPBA, has made this arrangement with Indonesia’s leading badminton training centre — the Suryanaga Club in Surabaya. Aditya Prakash will train under Hadi Sugiyantho, who was earlier the National doubles coach in India for two years. In the past, Anup Sridhar and Rohan Castelino had done similar training stints in 2004.
