Contract ANMs on the warpath

VIZIANAGARAM: Under the aegis of the CPI(M), all the 322 contract ANMs staged a dharna at the Collectorate on Wednesday. They were demanding conduct of counselling immediately. It may be recalled that they were asked to appear for counselling on October 13. When they reached the venue that day, they were informed that it was cancelled following orders from Commissioner (Family Welfare).
