10-year RI for three more in blasts cases

COIMBATORE: The Special Court on Thursday sentenced three more accused to ten years’ rigorous imprisonment in the Coimbatore serial blasts cases.

On sentences for the prime accused, the Judge said the court was scheduled to pronounce them on October 24. However, frequent disruptions in power supply was delaying the work of obtaining photocopies of the judgment. The Judge said the work was being done even after office hours. The court, on October 22, will confirm whether the sentences could be pronounced as scheduled on October 24, the Judge said.
