Ophthalmic meet

BANGALORE: The National Ophthalmic Association is holding a two-day conference titled “Indo Vision Care and Contact Lens Congress” at New Delhi on October 27.

M. Venkatesh, President of the Karnataka State Government Ophthalmic Assistants’ Association, said that 60 government ophthalmic assistants from Karnataka are participating in the conference, along with delegates from the U.S., Australia, Canada and representatives from the World Health Organisation, Geneva. The conference will be inaugurated by former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. — Staff Correspondent
