‘Garden Song’ from today

Bangalore: “Garden Song”, an exhibition of photographs by Chennai-based artist V. Hariraam, will be held here between October 20 and 24.

This will be the first solo show of photographs for Mr. Hariraam, who is known better for his cubist and abstract paintings.

Born in 1948 in Kerala, Mr. Hariraam obtained a degree in Art at Kalamandir School of Art in Bangalore in 1980.

He has exhibited his works in India and abroad and has won awards from the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums in Karnataka and from Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai.

He was the secretary of the Progressive Painters’ Association, Cholamandalam Artists’ Village, Chennai.

Mr. Hariraam lives and works in Chennai and Mumbai.

The exhibition will be on at Time and Space Gallery for contemporary art on Lavelle Road.

The exhibition will be open for the public between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
